Once a draft has been completed (i.e. the work has a beginning, middle, and end) and you’re not sure if it’s working or if you have specific questions about certain aspects.

• A general review of core elements of the work: Character, setting, plot, pacing, style. These notes will be very broad in nature essentially outlining what is working and what isn’t with notes as to why. This feedback will be provided in a summary report.
• This is similar to feedback gained from beta readers, but will also include feedback regarding the potential success of the work in the marketplace – does it fit in the genre? Would an editor be looking for something like this? Is it missing an original twist? How much work might it need before being published?

Time and price can vary based on the length and complexity of the work. To get an accurate cost for your project, a sample must be submitted to the editor to determine the price.
